The Koch Sisters before Everest, 1984. No Sherpas, no oxygen

This was in 1984, the year Peter Hillary led the ill fated Australian – New Zealand expedition to the west Ridge.

Our first time in Nepal.

My sister and I were trekking with our friend James. one of our favourite photo pose, pretending to be climbers before their very daring climb.

Here, before Everest, no Sherpas, no O2.;-)

I am in the process of slowly re publishing my book, the Wind in my hair, as an illustrated, revised ebook version. I am planning to sell it by chapter, as it takes a long time to find the photos and slides, and scan them! Lots of unpublished material some of it very special…

That would be about 99c a chapter, your thoughts on that?
