Crisp colours of almost Spring.
I am not sure if it is the timid sun lighting the ever growing grass tender green,
or the glowing red of the pot belly’s ambers beside my office table…
I am inspired…
… to cook ( read: throw together whatever happens to be in the fridge and cupboards),

Whatever was in the house.. mustard seeds, garlic, chilli, Himalayan pink salt, organic lemon, bok choi, apples, potatoes and mushroom based pretend snags, olive oil, aniseed, sunflowers and sesame seeds. And I bet you my hat that Eric will add mayonnaise to it! 🙂 **
I am inspired to clean my body and my soul, and (shock, horror) I’m even inspired to houseclean!

Mobile cleaning service. As much as I loathe cleaning my own place, I love cleaning others’! En route to a cleaning bee at Melissa‘s. On Friday, she’ll lend her creativity to our garden!
I have a feeling that what triggered it all was my decision to stop the ritual reliance on alcohol to relax at the end of the day. As much as I enjoy a beer ( Belgian roots) or a glass of wine or three ( and of course the obligatory G&T on planes to somewhere exciting), it seems that as I grow older my body prefers getting high on being straight, with a large dollop of walkies and happiness thrown in.
I choose to do and be what feels right, and from here everything flows.* Love is the core of life.
* that does not mean I manage it all the time. I strive to, but sometimes on black dog days, saying ‘this too shall pass’ and having a nap is the best course of action!
** He did!!
PS: A very happy birthday to my brother Pascal Koch, his first one as a daddy!
