Nothing Like a Job Well Done!

Final speaker at the Austcontact Conference, Sydney.

The next morning, on the South Col...

11 May 1996, on the South Col…the wind was blowing at 160km per hour….

I just saw Everest the Blockbuster. As I was on the South Col when the tragedy occurred, I have a very interesting take on the whole story.. from the perspective of people on an expedition that had offered help, which could have made quite a difference…

There is a whole chapter on Everest 1996 in my ebook ” The Wind in My Hair”, which you can buy online, in the BTS shop.

This is part of my keynote presentation.

Below, Fiona Keough, Austcontact’s CEO explains why she liked it.
“Brigitte held the delegates in the palm of her hand telling her story of resilience in conquering Mt Everest with humility and humour. There is no doubt, in my mind the depth of Brigitte’s strength and quiet achievement is to be admired and mirrored. Thank you for closing our 2015 National Conference on an inspiring note”
